About the role:
We are looking for a Business Development professional with strong experience in account hunting and farming across Professional Services clients (Consulting Firms) in the Indian market. The role will primarily focus on identifying, engaging, acquiring, and growing consulting, advisory, and professional services accounts.
The ideal candidate should come from the market intelligence, research, consulting support, or advisory ecosystem and possess a strong understanding of how consulting firms in India engage external research and insights partners.
Location: Gurugram/Mumbai
Key Responsibilities:

Drive business development initiatives across hunting (new account acquisition) and farming (existing account growth) within Professional Services clients (Consulting Firms) in the India market

Identify and connect with key stakeholders including Partners, Directors, Practice Leaders, and Strategy teams within target consulting organizations

Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities through outbound outreach, networking, referrals, and market mapping

Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing consulting and advisory clients to drive repeat business and account growth

Conduct client discussions to understand business requirements and position relevant 1Lattice offerings

Coordinate and support client meetings, commercial discussions, and ongoing account engagement activities

Prepare proposals and align on commercials with the client in alignment with the delivery team on new projects.

Track market trends, target accounts, and competitive landscape within the Professional Services ecosystem in India

Collaborate closely with internal leadership and delivery teams to support business growth initiatives

Ensure achievement of lead generation, revenue, pipeline creation, and account growth targets
Desired background:
-
5–8 years of experience in account hunting and farming within market intelligence, research, consulting support, or advisory firms
-
Prior experience servicing Professional Services clients in the India market is strongly preferred

Strong understanding of the consulting and professional services ecosystem in India

Proven ability to acquire new accounts and grow existing client relationships

Excellent communication, networking, stakeholder management, and client engagement skills

Comfortable working in a target-driven, high-growth environment

MBA preferred
